In the spring of 2022, my wife Joan and I took a road trip. First we stopped at Petrified Forest National Park. Besides the actual petrified trees, we visited some native sites in the park. Our next sops were more historic sites. Tuzigoot National Monument, Honanki Heritage Site, and Palatki Heritage Site. All in Arizona. We then visited Las Vegas NV. Not the glitz of the strip, but we visited the first settlement in Vegas. We traveled to Death Valley National Park. Visiting Furnace Creek, Badwater Basin and more history, a petroglyph trail.
